Os Smurfs – O Filme

Está em fase de produção o filme que trará os personagens Smurfs para a telona. A proposta é mesclar filmagens e animação 3d, a fim de permitir que os pequenos personagens azuis interajam com humanos.

O filme está sendo produzido em parceria pela Columbia Pictures e a Sony Pictures Animation. Caberá a esta última a animação dos personagens 3d e a ImageWorks, estúdio de efeitos especiais da Sony, ficará responsável pela integração entre as filmagens e a animação 3d. O resultado deve ficar parecido com o de “Alvin e os Esquilos”, poduzido pela Fox Pictures.

A direção está a cargo de Raja Gosnell, conhecida por “Scooby-Doo” e “Scooby-Doo 2: Monstros à Solta”, a produção é de Jordan Kerner e o roteiro, de David Stem e David Weiss, roteiristas de “Shrek 2″ e “Shrek 3″. Sobre a história não foram divulgadas informações.

Os personagens principais desse filme são há muito conhecidos do público, pois Smurfs tiveram um série animada produzida pela Hanna-Barbera na década de 1980, contando 256 episódios. Essa série foi transmitida, no Brasil, pela Rede Globo. Mas sua origem data de 1958 como personagens de quadrinhos criados pelo belga Pierre Culliford, mais conhecido por Peyo.

Pelas poucas imagens divulgadas na internet percebe-se que o visual dos pequenos será respeitado nos personagens 3d, mantendo-se as proporções do corpo, as formas e as características calças e gorros brancos. O software utilizado para a animação dos personagens é o 3ds Max.

E a previsão é de lançamento em 2010.
