Dreamworks e Disney juntas?

Reportagem da Reuters confirma acordo entre a Dreamworks e Disney para distribuição de filmes “live action” produzidos pela Dreamworks. Mas vale ressaltar que não foi o estúdio de animação 3d Dreamworks Animation que fechou acordo com a Disney, e sim a produtora responsável por filmes com atores reais. Confira a matéria.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Os Estúdios Walt Disney confirmaram nesta segunda-feira que chegaram a um acordo de distribuição de longo prazo com a DreamWorks Studios, de Steven Spielberg e Stacey Snider.

A Disney informou em um comunicado que vai distribuir e comercializar algo como seis filmes de animação por ano da DreamWorks como parte da parceria com a Reliance BIG Entertainment.

O primeiro filme da DreamWorks que será divulgado pela Touchstone Pictures da Disney deve chegar aos cinemas em 2010.

O Wall Street Journal informou no domingo que a Disney vai receber uma comissão de pelo menos 8 por cento da renda bruta de bilheteria da DreamWorks.

A Disney também deve fornecer um empréstimo ou linha de crédito de até 150 milhões de dólares para a DreamWorks como parte do acordo, disse o jornal.

Os Estúdios Disney são uma unidade da Disney Co.. A Reliance BIG Entertainment é parte da Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group e a DreamWorks é uma empresa de capital fechado.
