Cientistas desenvolvem cubo que mostra imagens 3D de pessoas

São Paulo – Pesquisadores usam lentes sobre displays LCD no gCubik, que projeta três ângulos de imagem. Visualização não requer óculos.

Pesquisadores do National Institute of Information and Communications Technology do Japão, estão desenvolvendo um cubo que mostra imagens em 3D de uma pessoa, revelou o site Physorg.

O objetivo dos cientistas é que o gCubik, ainda um protótipo, deverá mostrar as projeções – hoje estáticas – se movendo e falando em tempo real, como um pequeno humano ‘portátil’.

Os painéis usam pequenas lentes sobre displays de cristal líquido (LCD). As imagens do gCubik podem ser vistas de três ângulos, dispensando o uso de óculos especial.

A tecnologia deve chegar ao mercado em cerca de três anos, com seis ângulos de visão e melhor qualidade visual. Além disso, a expectativa se mantém para o movimento e fala do objeto 3D.

Recentemente, pesquisadores ingleses criaram um robô que ‘imprime’ réplicas 3D de objetos.
