A luz é então direcionada, com uma diferença de ângulo, por um conjunto de elementos reflexivos e primas para cada olho. No entanto, para a sensação estereoscópica funcionar os olhos do usuário devem estar a 65mm de distância da tela.

A tecnologia por trás da tela Vikuiti promete ainda reduzir o efeito de náusea no usuário, comum em determinadas situações em que se observa imagens estereoscópicas.
